How was your new year?

みなさんのお正月はいかがでしたか？

I spent my new year at home.

私は自分の家で過ごしました。

It was amazing.

それがまたとてもよかった！

This December I bought a television for the first time.

12月に初めてテレビを買ったの。

Four years in Japan and I just had TV in December 2022!

日本に来て４年、2022年12月についに！テレビがきたの！

I watch Netflix movies all the time.

Netflixずーっと観ちゃった。

Do you know Harry Potter?

ハリーポッターは知ってますよね？

When I was young I was able to watch the first movie but I haven’t watched the rest of the Harry Potter series.

若い時に１つ目のハリーポッターは見たんだけど、残りはまだ観れていなくて。

I finished the Harry Potter series during Winter vacation.

でもこの冬休みの間に全部見終わっちゃった♪

It was a really interesting movie. I cried watching the last part.

とっても面白かったよ。最後は泣いちゃった。

I know now why people love Harry Potter.

ようやくみんながなぜそんなにハリーポッターが好きかわかりました！

And then Masumi and Meg (Masumi’s five-year old daughter) invited me to go to Tentoumushi Park in Fujieda.
それから、MasumiとMeg(Masumiの５才の娘)に誘われて、藤枝のてんとうむしパークにも行きました。

The three of us played tag on the trampoline. It was so fun and tiring.

トランポリンでおにごっこしてました笑。楽しかったけど疲れた～

I guess I am old because I had body pains after!

筋肉痛で年をとったなあと思いました。笑

I tried wall climbing, it was hard! Meg was better than me.
ボルダリングもやってみたけど、めっちゃハード！Megの方が上手でした！笑

Overall, I had fun during my winter vacation.

そんなかんじで、冬休みとっても楽しかったです♪
