So, now is the perfect time to stay indoors with the air conditioning and practice your phonics!
だから、家の中でエアコンを付けて、フォニックスを勉強時間だ！
We start off easy, by making kids do their names and saying the sounds.
最初は簡単です。アルファベットの音を言いながら、自分の名前を作ります。

S-chan can spell her name all by herself!
Sちゃんは自分の名前をつくれます！えらいね！
Then, once the kids have learnt the basics ( a – z ), we introduce new combinations.
それから、AからZの音を全部覚えたら、その音を組み合わせて新しい音を勉強しようね。

Did you know if you put o and o together they make an ‘ooh’ sound?
(Pool, good, books)
O （オッ）と O を組み合わせたら、ウーの音になるって知ってた？
プール、グッド、ブックスもそうです。
igh = night / light / flight
oa = boat / toasted / soap
ou = mouse / house / pound
ph = dolphin / elephant / photograph
igh はアイになる。
（ナイト、ライト、フライトなど）
oa はオーになる。
（ボート、トーステッド、ソープなど）
ouはアウになる。
（マウス、ハウス、パウンドなど）

Our yellow class are trying hard to make words using the phonics they have learnt.
