I want to tell you a fun experience.

今日は楽しい体験ができたので、お話しします。

I went hiking with friends.

友だちと一緒にハイキングに行ってきました。

We went to Mt. Hamaishidake  in Shimizu. 

清水にある浜石岳という山に登ったよ。

It was a cold day!

すごい寒かった！

The mountain is near the ocean so 

I was excited to see the view from the top.

海に近い山だったから、頂上からの景色が最高でした。

I was expecting the really nice view.

But, I got a little more.

景色が最高だろうなとは思っていたんだけど、

それだけじゃなくて。

I was surprised to see snow in the mountain.

雪が積もっていたの！

It is super rare, people say.

すごく珍しいことだっったみたい。

As a person from tropical country, I got used to hot weather.

南国出身の私からすると、気候はいつも暑いから、

I did not have any snow experience when I was a kid.

こどもの頃は雪の経験がなかったんだけど、

So now when I see snow, I play with it like a kid!

雪を見た瞬間、子どもみたいにはしゃいじゃった！

It was a really good day.

本当に楽しかった♪
