In our blue and green classes we had a special surprise for the students. We planned to make a Jack o’lantern.

The pumpkins looked like this.

 

The students designed a face on the board, whilst I cut the top of the pumpkin.

Then we opened the top of the pumpkin. It wasn’t easy.

 

 

There were lots of seeds inside.

The students used a spoon and their hands to remove the seeds.

They said, “It’s disgusting!”, “It’s yucky!”.

They did a good job!

 

Then we cut out the face.

Our Jack o’lanterns were finished (in 45 minutes!)

Well done guys, you did amazing!!
