Just wanted to update you on the lessons. I took lots of pictures this month!
レッスンの状態をちょっと更新したかったのです。今月たくさん写真を撮りました。

Christmas is just around the corner so we were brushing up on how to ask Santa Claus for Christmas presents.
もうちょっとでクリスマスだから♡サンタさんへの頼み方を勉強し直しました。

In the red classes and kids classes, we were practicing ‘I want ~’ and ‘I have ~’. In the yellow classes, we were practicing ‘I want to ~’.
レッドクラスでは「ＯＯが欲しい」と「ＯＯを持っている」を練習し、イェロークラスでは「ＯＯしたい」を練習しました。

In the elementary classes we used the shopping game to practice ‘I want a (banana)’ and ‘I want to (eat) / (buy) a (banana)’.
小学生のクラスでは、みんなの大好きなショッピングゲームで「（バナナ）が欲しい」と「（バナナ）を食べたい・買いたい」の練習をしたよ。

In the kids classes, we drew pictures of the things we have or want to have in our toy boxes.
キッズクラスでは、自分のおもちゃ箱にあるおもちゃや欲しいおもちゃの絵を描きました。

We also have a great book called ‘You Choose’.
We like to ask the kids what they want from there. J-kun and I love to hear everyone’s answers!
「You Choose」というの素敵な絵本があります。
そこからこども達に「なにがほしいかな？」って聞きます。
Jくんと私はこども達が答えるのを聞くのが大好き♡

We like to practice with the BB cards, too.
ＢＢカードでも復習できます！

Eve:‘She wants some butter / She wants to buy some butter’.
Kids:‘Oh, I know! Betty Botter!’
イブ：「彼女はバターが欲しい・バターを買いたい」
こども達：「あっ！わかった！ベッティーボッターだ！」

Also, from the Yellow class and upwards, everyone has been trying hard with phonics!
そして、イェロークラス以上のみんなはフォニックスを頑張っています！

Recently we’ve been teaching them magic e.
最近、”マジックＥ”を教えています。

C – A – K is pronounced ‘cak’, right?
But add a magic e and it becomes cayk.
ＣＡＫはクッ・ア・クッ。だけど、Ｅを付けると、ＣＡＫＥはケイクッ。

Because of magic e, the hard A (like in apple) becomes a long A like ABC in the alphabet.
マジックＥのおかげで、ア・ア・アップはＡＢＣのエイになります。

N-chan is wondering where she made the mistake! (Later, she worked it out for herself!)
Ｎちゃんは「どこが間違うんだろう～」を考え中！（その後自分で気づきました！）

You can use magic e to change any of the vowel sounds.
母音のどれでもマジックＥで変えます。

A = ア ＝ エイ Plate = プレイト
E = エ ＝ イー Complete = コンプリート
I = イ ＝ アイ Five = ファイヴ
O = オ ＝ オー Home = ホーム
U = ア ＝ ユー Cube = キューブ
